PRIVACY POLICY

WHAT IS PERSONAL DATA?

Personal data refers to any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual. Different pieces of information that, when combined, can lead to the identification of a specific person, also constitute personal data.
Personal data that has been anonymized, encrypted, or pseudonymized but can still be used to re-identify a person remains personal data and is subject to the GDPR.
Personal data that has been anonymized in such a way that the individual is no longer identifiable is no longer considered personal data. For data to be truly anonymized, the anonymization must be irreversible.
GDPR protects personal data regardless of the technology used for processing that data – it is “technologically neutral” and applies to both automated and manual processing, as long as the data is organized according to predefined criteria (e.g., in alphabetical order). Also, it does not matter how the data is stored – whether in an IT system, through video surveillance, or on paper; in all these cases, personal data is subject to the protection requirements set out in the GDPR.
According to Law No. 677/2001 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, as amended and supplemented, and Law No. 506/2004 on the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector, ATX SOLUTIONS has the obligation to securely and only for specified purposes, administer the personal data you provide to us about yourself, a family member, or another person.

The processed personal data is used for carrying out processes, legitimate interests, and fulfilling legal reporting and archiving obligations, with the mentioned processing being necessary to fulfill the operations requested by you. The processing lasts only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes requested by you.
Your data may be transferred to partners and associates to fulfill your request. For example, in the case of contacting specialized consultants (e.g., lawyers, expert accountants), to the extent that the opinion of such specialists is necessary to fulfill a request from you.

COOKIES

WHAT IS A “COOKIE”?

A cookie (“browser cookie” or “HTTP cookie”) is a small file consisting of numbers and letters that is stored on any device with internet access (computer, mobile phone, tablet, etc.) and is installed through a request sent by a web server to a browser (e.g., Internet Explorer, Chrome).
Important: Cookies do not contain software programs, viruses, or spyware, and they cannot access information from the user’s hard drive. Cookies do not request personal information and do not personally identify internet users.
A cookie consists of a name and content, and its duration of existence is determined, allowing it to be accessed again by the web server when the user returns to the associated website.

DISABLING AND REFUSING COOKIES

Disabling and refusing to receive cookies can make certain websites impractical or difficult to visit and use. Additionally, refusing to accept cookies does not mean that you will no longer receive/see online advertising.
It is possible to configure your browser to not accept these cookies or to set your browser to accept cookies from a specific site. However, for example, if you are not registered using cookies, you will not be able to leave comments on our website.
